So this is the Chinese Lantern? It is my favourite berry. Very sweet when ripe. As a kid in my long house, I used to gather this berry in the hill paddy plots where they grow wild and in abundance.
Here in Taiping they grow wild in my backyard. So it reminds me of my early days in my long house.
